Agl Eagl 2 Grade Self Leveling Rotary Laser Level Powers On For Parts Or Repair

  
Used with case Agl Eagl 2 laser kevel. Bought from an estate sale so I can only tell you very little about it. It was supposedly stored working and the owner had been trying to get it going.

I turned the switch on, the green power light comes on (see picture) and you can hear what I believe is the motor running that powers the rotating laser but there is no movement in the area where the laser should shine from. Just a humming sound, nothing else. Once I had to bump the laser to get it going again. The case for the laser looks rough but its mainly paint and scrapes but it functions well, I see no cracks or breaks. It's dirty and needs a good cleaning but it holds and protects the laser head unit just fine.

All things considered, I think this might be a good candidate to repair, or use it for parts. Please study the pictures carefully and ask any questions you may have.
