Includes unit, remote, padded hard plastic case, and allen wrench. No manual included, but it's pretty simple, and my video shows pretty much everything you need to know to operate it. The base has two different sizes of threaded holes, including 5/8 x 11 inch, to work with a wide variety of standard tripods.

Takes four AA batteries for the base, and a single 9-volt battery for the remote. Weighs approximately 8 lb 10 oz in case, 3 lb 10 oz for the base unit, and 4 oz for the remote---all without batteries.
